Teeth whitening

Tooth whitening is an option if you’re teeth have become discoloured. There are three types of whitening available:

  • Over-the-counter products that can be used at home
  • Kits made by our dentists to be used at home
  • In-chair treatments that must be performed by a dentist

Concentration and efficacy are the main differences between the options. The at-home treatments are more diluted and will need to be used more than once over a given period of time. The in-clinic treatments used by our dentists are stronger and require only one visit.

Dental veneers

Veneers are shell-like pieces of enamel that fit around chipped or stained teeth. There are two types, composite and porcelain. Composite veneers are a faster treatment and less expensive, but porcelain veneers easy to maintain, durable and stain resistant, and an ideal option for crooked or chipped teeth.

Invisible braces

These clear, plastic, 3D-printed aligners are a new and exciting technology that are designed to be worn 24 hours a day to correct the position of your teeth. They are far less noticeable than the traditional, bulky metal options.

White fillings

White fillings, also known as composite fillings, are an alternative to amalgam (metal) fillings. They give a far more natural look and are therefore more aesthetically pleasing. They come with several other advantages, including reduced sensitivity to temperature and the ability to restore the original strength of the tooth.

Crowns & dental bridges

Dental crowns are custom-designed, little helmets for teeth, used to restore the tooth’s integrity. Dental bridges fill in the gaps left by missing teeth; they’re secured to the remaining teeth on either side of the gap. For patients with damaged or missing teeth, both of these options provide a natural, aesthetically pleasing solution.

Dentures are used to replace any number of teeth and increase the functionality of your molars. They can feel odd at first, but once you grow accustomed to them you’ll forget they’re even there.

On this occasion the dentist Natalie was very good, explained clearly why specialist surgery was required. The standout however, was Bec the admin. Officer, who went over and above to get me an urgent appt. the next day. She was amazing & I very much appreciated her assistance.
